Jeff's been busy

Jeff went on a road trip to Philly last weekend. He was very good in the car. Looked out the window for a bit, then spent most of the ride rolled up in a ball on my lap.

jeff gets to go down to the woods in our neighborhood every day.

He does a lot of sniffing around.

We walk down to the offleash "Canine Area" ... and sit on the bench to look at the big dogs play.  One day, Jeff too will go play.  Though he will never be one of those big dogs.

We have discovered a lot of things about Jeff in the past week...

He is a good little dog, regardless of his unknown background and puppy status.

He can run laps around the coffee table at breakneck speed. 

He loves Nylabones, little tiny ones.

He loves going for walks.  He gets SO excited to be outside.  He can walk for a long time on his little bitty legs.

He is no longer scared of Ryan.

He loves to sit on the veranda and watch the world go by.

He likes to sleep under the covers, down by  my feet.

Not only is he no longer scared of Ryan, he is his go-to guy for belly rubs.  He LOVES belly rubs.

Orphan No More

Jeff got adopted yesterday.  From the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation.  (Thank you guys!). Jeff is a tiny peanut - about 6# at 7 months.  He is a little scruffy with humongous ears (the better to hear you with). 

He was very tired after two adoption events this weekend.
